Just a great day to be out! My buddy and I hit a bunch of old favorites today. Used the Garrett ATX for the first part of the day, which got the oldest - An old gas cap, a harmonica reed and an old cork screw. The rest of the day I used the AT Pro and found the coins.
Beautiful! Get as many in as you can, I cant say I'm looking forward to those chickadee snow pictures of yours where they are sitting on your detector...! As cool as they are, its approaching!

Nice hunt. Switching detectors after a while is something I like to do too. The ATX has developed quite a following. I wish they'd redesign the cam locks though. I know Waterwalker and his experience with the cam locks.

It's nice to see the obscure finds ID'd. There have been many whatsits that I had no clue about, but suspected something about it. Looks like a gorgeous day out there, which is often enough of a reward to get out by itself. Been busy here but getting out, and tossing a few bits into my colander o' crud.
You have to clean the cams and rod during and/or immediately after the hunt to keep the adjustable rods and cams working properly. Otherwise, they are very difficult to adjust.
My buddy and I weren't exactly sure where we would end up, so we took nearly everything. He had never used a PI before, so I brought along the Infinium so he could play with it.
