Bloody cold in the water today. I need a thicker wetsuit. Another silver ring...about 6 divers weights and......

Now that is a great looking ring! I have always liked finding rings with various hallmarks stamped into them. It adds to the mystery of when and who?

It is 1853! Amazing OLD for New Zealand. The thing is...The ring looks really new. (Being 22ct). Definitely my oldest ring so far!

It looks like a Birmingham hallmark, that is a very nice find that ring,by the way the hallmarks are so high and the ability to read it so easily i reckon it was lost just after the person bought it as it has no wear what so ever.

Simply a beautiful ring dmnz, wow!!!:clapping: how many are you up to now in your count for the year?

I think 29 since Jan. (Gold and plat). Maybe 18 silver (not counting those). Basically very little wear on that ring. I cleaned it and polished the outside before realising the age! It is pretty awesome for so old an item.
