Having a LOT of fun with the 150 (my excuse this time is the kids were at judo so hey no one was using it The first ring on the right says it all - I 'LOVE' it!
Mainly set on All Metal and sensitivity at three. Dug most signals, including quite a bit of iron just out of interest. One hundred yen coins (about a US$) show as nickel (which they are) very well.
Six rings - the second from the right is marked 'Tiffany & Co. Peretti 925 Spain', others are silver too.
Below those is a Hermes (Paris) clip earring.
The big one with the leather strap is a silver BVLGARI (Italy).
Note the small round broken parts of fishing swivels (three) bottom left - sure is a sensitive detector!
Sunset pic below.

Really nice Ian. We may have to call you the RING MASTER. You sure do find a lot of rings. I need to find a nice sandy place too. Great pictures ,keep it up and enjoy.

Thanks Bob, happy you enjoy the posts. Always good to see yours too.
Last year I did many 'random' hunts of the main parts of the beach so it is now much cleaner than it was. Next time out and through this year we will start our grid search using three detectors and digging all targets, also chasing all the very deep signals too. The steel pole you can see in the sunset pic (between the people) is one of two and are very useful bearings. Will start from there and go east (toward the camera) because the prevailing winds are from the west and it isn't fun getting blasted by sand, or sun in the case of afternoon hunts.
Also, running the length of the beach, at the right of the pic, is a concrete walkway, parts of it still covered as a result of many typhoons last year (naturally a lot of the rings have come from there). I'm hoping the local government clears that by next summer and turns over the sand a bit for us. At the eastern end is a concrete wall which helps too and creates a nice rectangular area. We'll be taking this stage very, very slowly. I haven't done any detecting for land mines (and no plans to) but this will be what my image of it is like....EVERY faint sound and EVERY step counts!
Will also be doing more in the water this year, and some night hunts on dry sand during summer - after the crowds leave.
A continuing story.......Ian in The Land of the Rising Rings!

Hey you done good bud and it is a sensitive little sucker.
