Another Trip To The Lane Brings A Little More Gold

Hit the lane last night for the 10:30 low tide with my buddy Karl. Targets were EXTREMELY scarce. Saw Norm Diver and Rob Racer in the shallow surf and another guy up in the dry sand, that was it. Rob had a nice gold band he's found.

My meager nut, made a little less meager by the arrival of gold in my scoop!

wasn't 1000 miles away from the nearest beach!I have always wanted to hunt there. Heck even if I don't have a water machine...my cz70pro should fit right in. Maybe someday!

Yeah man, come on down and give it a shot. The CZ will do fine in the wet sand set in salt mode...just don't drop her in.

I post here all summer long and then you'll see me back on the Explorer forum in the fall. I don't do ANY land hunting this time of year...too many ticks in the woods and fields and too much gold on the beach! :) Usually you will see me posting on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings, after my previous night's hunt.

HH!

Frank, I took it down there to try it and it was great. I just don't like hunting the beach with the Explorer. I have my Excal for that and that's pretty much all I use. That said, the 10 x 14 was great there. I was able to run it at 28 in the wet sand and 25 in the shallow water and it was fully stable. And got nice depth too. It's a great coil, though a bit heavy. I prefer it for farm fields mostly.
