Another trip to an old site

This site was a tannery in about 1700/1710. Over the past few years, we have found dozens of buttons (some really good ones!), a few 1730-1780's coins and a bunch of shattered, VERY large cast iron pots. Of course there are tons of square nails, and other bits of 300 year old metal bits. Today I managed a thimble, a corner of a very ornate silver (pewter) buckle (guessing shoe), and some really clean nails at very good depth. Tried out the wireless headphones for the first time, they do work pretty slick, and give you a good feeling of freedom from the detector. Here are some site pictures and a shot of my "junk-man" finds! HH
