The CoRe scores another silver ring (.925) with a small stone in it. Not sure if the stone is real diamond or not.
DI2, Sens 50, ID Mask 10.

That is a winner on any day Dean! You make me jealous reading your finds. I have a old home site to dig soon that has never been touched!!!!! I am ready to make you guys jealous!:detecting:

Thanks Guys!

The VID bounced between 82-83. My first thought was that it was a penny on edge or at a funny angle as pennies come in at a solid 82. My GB# in this place was 83. The tone was very "clean", "sparky", and "clipped". It was quite shallow at 3"... I just checked the large silver men's ring that I found last week and, it too, gave VID#s that bounced from 80-83 with an occasional 78 while circling it.

mtsheron- Good luck at the new site! Make me jealous!!:)

November seems to be the month for silver rings! My daughter nailed this one Tuesday afternoon (I was designated - "digger of targets"). Small .925 silver pinky ring with a design. Rang up as a "85" on the CoRe at about 4-5" deep.

Keep em coming!

Thanks, mtsheron!
When are you hitting that old home site? Can't wait to see what you pull out of there!

I have been in contact with the owner and hopefully after the Thanksgiving Holiday in early December and of course the rattlesnakes and copperheads have gone to nest a bit!

Soon then. Awesome.
We have to watch for the rattlers as well. Ran in to this guy about two weeks ago while detecting for gold in the desert. We don't usually kill them but this guy was in camp and too close for comfort.

14 buttons on his rattle!

Be careful out there!

Yep, we have timber rattlers and eastern diamondbacks as well as like I said the copperhead that just lies there and waits for you to step near. I will certainly update the hunt when I do it.
