Another Silver Quarter

Prodigy

New member
After 6 days, this marks the 3rd quarter I have found in the same park, thus doubling my lifetime amount of quarters found. Not to mention that it is a trifecta. Also, my first 1909 VDB. I could not be happier with this machine.

Nice finds, I've got to find me a park like yours. Piddled around in the yard for about 30 minutes with my CTX yesterday and found 2 pennies one was a 1973 the other was a 1942. At least I'm finding old coins with it even if they aren't silver! Get back out to that park and find you some more!! :detecting:

Good Job!

What can I say. Taught you everything you know. Just kidding. What I found with
mine when I got it going was that I was digging deeper holes WITH CONFIDENCE.
I went to the beach yesterday and found 3 modern pennies, 1972 quarter and 2001
quarter and what looks like a small (size of a dime) Jewish Star necklace pendant
that was gold, AND A GOLD TOOTH CAP!!!!!!NO JOKE MAN a d---- gold tooth cap.
Fixing to leave and go back today. The king tides at Myrtle Beach have wreaked
havock on the dunes. There is no longer any white beach sand that the women lay
out on. It has all been washed back out to sea. This is the second King Tide that has
happened in the past 2 months. They even closed off the beach near the lower end
of Murrells Inlet at the point to all traffic and beach accesses. The dirt has washed
away the sand from the bottom of the access ramps now and it is about a 3' drop
off the ramp to the beach
