Another short spin, and some silver.

Took a short trip from the house the weather here in Fl. gives very little warning as you will see. I hit the Beach around 10:00am for a 12:02 low tide. At 12:30 the lifeguards ran everyone out of the water lightning storm coming. By 1:00 I was in a flood up to the doors on my jeep. Got home 30 minutes later the sun was out and 93 degrees, go figure.

ARRIVED AT BEACH AND RECLAMATION OF SAND WAS GOING ON. 10:20 AM

ONCE I CLEAN THE RING I'LL POST IT AGAIN, THANKS FOR LOOKING.

There are more lightening strikes in FL than anywhere in the world.

But youre right. If you can stay and wait out the afternoon thunder-whoopers, youll have the beach to yourself... for awhile, anyway! :)

Here is the ring after allot of work getting it clean, it was in the water for a long time very encrusted. Used everything in my shop to clean it. Any Ideal if the star has any significance. It is marked sterling only no .925 so I am thinking it is an older piece. I found a 1964 nickel in the same hole, it was completely black could hardly read the date. The clad I got today took me over the $100.00 mark, for clad only for 2007. Tumbled it all today to clean it.

I know I need to get a life, but I have a Hobby and that is much more fun.

That's a magic circle (pentacle inside a circle) used in ritual magic. The magic circle makes up the pupil of a stylized eye. Not a good thing to have around the house in my mind. It is still silver though so no reason not to send it to the smelter.
Funny, kind of like sending the ring from the Lord of the Rings into the fires of Mount Doom. In this case you get a check back!

Be Well Brother,

BDA:cool:
