Another request to help ID an eagle button

Can anybody help ID this button? It's about 1/2" in diameter. 2 piece button. I haven't cleaned it up yet nor have I scanned either side but if this would be helpful I'd do that.

It looks like a Confederate Staff Officers button. There are a couple similar on this CS button ID site....http://www.civilwarbuttons.com/cscentrlist.htm

Here is the front and back side after being washed with soap and water. Unfortunately I don't see any markings on the backside of the button.
