Another question for you guys

Confused

I went to the beach today. Low tide hunting in the water and wet sand line. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Well, except for a weight and a quarter. I was watching my sensitivity, I was running it at Auto +3, and it was at 20 - 13 average. I walked around for about an hour or so, and noticed that the sensitivity reading dropped to 8 - 1. What do I do with that? What is that from? I turned my CTX 3030 (oh yeah, I'm using a Minelab CTX 3030) off to restart it, but it didn't change much.

I bet 99% of the people that post in this forum haven't touched a CTX3030. I want one but lots of other money eating projects are getting in the way, like my two boats. Here is where we would LOVE to see your finds. as to helping you with its settings and querks, the other forum is a ton better. Absolutely GREAT people on it.

If you live on the Atlantic coast the beaches sanded back in deep a couple weeks ago. Nobody is finding anything around here. I am guessing that is your problem and not your settings.

I'm on the west coast, but I do remember seeing a lot of black in the sand. Thanks.
