Another question for Coin$trike users: NUMERIC I.D.

before digging and is a good feature to use if you have an iffy signal or a bouncer. I don't usually use it, I just dig if it's questionable.

But the way it works is, you make several passes over the target while in the averaging mode and from different directions. The processor will take all the accumulative passes and make determination of what the target is by the accumulative passes of the coil and give you a number to represent the targart.

But, it's not a magic wand, just gives you a little more information then without it.
