Another Pinpoint Question...

Where on the coil will an object pinpoint? Is it dead center of the coil, or a little forward or back or what? I dug a few finds with my T2 the other weekend, and had a bit of a time pinpointing, even with the x method. I Dug me a really nice Confederate staff officers button, but dinged it in the process. To be fair, the ground was really rocky, so I may have just rammed a rock into it, but I'd like to avoid that mistake again if possible. Also, do the T2 and F75 pinpoint in the same location?
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Mig,

The center seems to be the "dot" just in front of where the shaft connects to the coil. (or between there and the shaft itself)
