Another Outlaw mystery

Hey Guys! Just found another weird Outlaw mystery. With disc set at it's absolute minimum, I get say 6" on a nickel (not measured).... Turn the disc up to foil and I now get maybe 3" more?? Hmm..
It also sounds much cleaner and crisper when turned up around foil. This was done with the 5.75" coil...Any thoughts on this one guys??

Discrimination on the lower end will affect a nickel a lot more than it will clad and silver coins. Same goes for gold jewelry that's in the foil/nickel range.

But why would i have more depth with an increased disc? Not really an issue since I have yet to find gold at great depths, just wondering.

This may be something we need to take note of.You may not be able to just tumb the disc around.I guess we will find out. This is such a retro type detector there is no telling what we will run into next?I like the detector a lot already.Really effective relic detector so far.I really think this detector is special some how.I can not figure it out?I think this outlaw is yet to be fully found out. This detector has the potential to come out on top.Above the vaquero and tejon.Just by the way the outlaw can do things so easily. All we can do is keep huntin and testing to just see what it will do. :-D

I've tested several of my detectors and found that they are more likely to lose some depth with higher discrimination, but didn't see any real loss in the nickel range. Gaining depth though is something else again. If you learn any more on this, let us know.
