The Reason I Gave Up Watching TV Is I Have Too Hard A Time Trying To Understand The Words--The Way My Hearing Is A Lot Of The Time I Hear What People Say Wrong--I Think I Heard What They Said Correct But I Dont--People That Know Me Know How I Hear Things--The People That Dont Soon Learn--I Had My Ears Lanced 6-8 Times Before I Was 7 Then I Worked In Plywood Mills With No Ear Protection for 20 years--So I Am Just DEAF---I Dont Think Hearing Aids Would Do Any Good And Besides They Would Cost Around $4000---If I Am At Somebodys House And The TV Is On I Watch But Only Understand About Every 6th Word

I spent three years understanding only every fifth or sixth word....it is known as High School.
Now as a parent of a teenage girl one out of six words would be an exaggeration.
