Another old ax-head

Found another old ax head--this one near my property. I was wondering if it is very old and worth doing electrolysis on. It appears to be bend.

Andy thats a nice one , I found one just like it as well , all bent , BECAUSE they used it as a splitting wedge, in fact i have found several that got ruined because they used them as splitting wedges, nice historical pice it would look good all cleaned up you have a nice spot their .

U was wondering about that, too, but where the handle goes would be gnarled up. Also, why would it be made that way?
thanks ,
