Skully, Let me start off with Congrats for a bunch of good finds. The shell ring is interesting. The Gold PaPa-Jo ring is neat with the hole pattern on the sides. My wife thinks the (14K horse in the horseshoe) is a charm for a bracelet. I am new to this hobby (July) and can say I have never heard of gold turning black like silver tarnish . 14K I'm confused, looks real nice after cleaning it up, (You do a great job at that) I'm getting better. That $100 token dated 1984, any idea what that is???

Good looking Gold you found this time out. The Silver Ring is nice also. I also found a Sterling Silver Ring with the same stone accent but it is all one piece. Yours has more Color to it. I'm hoping the ground will thaw enough so I can get out tomorrow and find a few last minute Silver Coins before the Big Freeze sets in. Hoping to hit the 330 Mark for Silver Coins. Only 9 more to go! Skully it amazes me how gold in different parts of the country comes out looking like junk, for the most part gold up here in connecticut comes out like it went in (clean) the only carat that I have gotten like that was 10k and it was bleeding copper...

One of the things I'm going to be purchasing this year is a gold test kit, I'm going to get an acid test kit.
