Another nickle trifecta??

Me and my hunting partner went out yesterday afternoon. Gorgeous day with a light wind an around 50*. We hunted the old race track for a couple of hours. I was using my 600 and he was using my Tesoro. I got a good signal and it read 12. I was hunting in field one, iron bias 0,sensitivity 23 and recovery speed 1. Dug down around 6" and popped out the coin. Looked it over and I hollered at my buddy to come see this! You could make out a 5 on the back of the coin and a shield on the front. We couldn't believe it! I hunted a bit longer and came up with an 1890 V nickle. Dave found an 1891 Indian head. We were tired and decided to go home. He said we should stop at a field where a school once stood. My first signal in there looked to be a well worn Buffalo nickle. I have all three soaking in olive oil and will try to post pics later. My second target was a loud 24-25...It was a worn Barber dime on the surface! It was a worn 1904. Got a few Indians and wheats for a total of ten coins for the day. We are going to try to go out later today as cold weather is setting in tomorrow and I also have to take the wife to the hospital for surgery on her foot in the morning. So far I have 11 silver coins for the season. I think for me,that is pretty darned good! HH guys! Ted

A little update...The nickles are soaking...The V nickle appears to be 1886 and what I thought was a buffalo turned out to be another toasted shield nickle...No date so far on either one...

Nice finds!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like snow is on the way tonight! I wish I would have had more time to hunt but one must keep up with the other chores too.
