Found this little patch just this week gone. Was some nice little crystalline bits amongst it all too.
Cranked the gain to 15, rode the gound ballance non stop, double checked every sound, hard work but it paid off. Just under 1oz all up.

You can sometimes tell by how loud the signal is from alternating sides of the specie. If it sounds more on one side and less on the other you know that it is mostly on the surface of the quartz with just a little bit of intrusion. A good loud signal from all sides usually indicates it contains some good gold.

Looking at the photo, I would say you are bloody close to the source of that gold.

If you are able to do some electronic loaming and a bit of pick and shovel work you could be onto a nice little earner.

There's a few spots id love to have a decent dig at but unfortunately with a back like mine these days if I did it possibly could be the last dig I do. Its the reason I run small coils, 12 the biggest, and steer clear of areas where I know there is deep junk. I'm not really in the running these days for the big deep stuff as a result. Still could luck out one day on a nice shallow big bit, I live in hope.
