Finally rain has stopped and wind drying out fields. Managed to sneak in a 3 hour hunt last night after work. Still pulling out some good stuff on new site I found. Here is a .50cal. gallagher with 4 rings, I think the top ring is from casing clamp down on bullet. Never heard of a 4 ring gallagher...

Closeup of mystery item. Ended up being a replica gold coin necklace or bracelet. I have found these before in other campsites, must have been something they wore back then.

hi ksdigger. you are on one heckuva spot for sure. it's always neat to see your recoveries in a clod of dirt! it's kinda funny how your mind races for an instant, trying to figure out what it is before you pull it out! wtg, and thanks for posting. hh!
