Hit the same spot as yesterday First signal was only a clad dime, but the second was a silver rosie! Also pulled 2 more coins, but just clad. I dug the usual pull-tabs, and some other junk. It was a good day.

Thanks Rebel. The single tone acts just like a Tesoro, but it clicks with me better. Plus the trigger pinpoint is priceless. It should be on every machine.

hello
i'm a "newbie"; i just purchased the mxt. I've read alot but am finding difficult to remember all the vdi #'s for particular coins; the low read for iron means good ?; how to reset ground balance etc... I am hunting on quite mineralized ground and am getting so many different flashes from iron to dimes to hot rocks to rings to bullets..in the thick of things i am not remembering what is good and what is junk...
Is there a cheat sheet already created or should i start my "book" :) !!
thanks in advance!
Liz

As a reminder, there is a VDI scale below the screen on the MXT that shows the corresponding coins below that. There is also instructions on the bottom of the control box to help you with setting the machine up to hunt.

The nice thing about my classic, there is no VDI to remember :)
