I've purchaed my first detector from e-bay last week. It has no manufactures name or model number but was sold as a "Advantage 3030 Pro". I can find no info on this machine anywhere. It appears to have most of the bells and whistles incl.notch, disc notch, auto disc notch, and has sensitivity meter. It also has ground balance and all metal function. And does have ground trac. I have the instruction pamplet and its helpfull, but still no joy on the manf info. I have alot of questions regarding this machine and other things about detecting in general and have no one to ask but you guys.
I live in Columbus Ohio and would really like to talk to some local hunters. I have only found one local dealer, a hobby shop with no apparent connections to the local hunters.
If anyone could identify my machine and get me hooked up locally, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Inspector, I know the detector it is a off brand, don,t know who makes it but it was one of my first detectors. It dose OK for the price. I lived in Columbus Ohio for 21 years. Moved 3 years ago. Ohio has some good parks to hunt. Found allot of good rings, always $3oo.oo to $4oo.oo in clad a year.Good Luck with your 3030, it well do you till you find clad to move up. Dean

Try it out. If it finds good stuff, use it till it wears out or you make enough out of it to buy a new detector. If you like it...keep using it. It doesn't have to have a brand name to give you enjoyment.
