Just wanted to say how much this place has helped me. I got a new F75 for Christmas. It's quite a change from my Tesoro. I finally took it out today to start learning it. I used the small coil since many on here say it is easier to learn with. All of the info I had read on this forum really helped me out. I know I've got a lot of learning ahead of me yet but I feel like I'm off to a good start.

Thanks, dkw

Congrats and welcome, I just got my new F75 last week, so far I am loving it..I got both coils But hav'nt tried the small one yet, with the 11" it likes to go fast and the machine is very sensitive to targets..Good luck..and be sure to post the finds..

The F-75 is totally different than the Tesoro line up, and you will have to put aside your learned characteristics. In many ways its almost opposite to what I had learned using the Tejon. Keep an open mind, follow the suggestions you read, and get a bigger shovel!
