Another new park with the AT-Pro another first!

Started the afternoon off in a small parking lot by a boat ramp. Completely skunked, bottle cap wasteland.

Moved on to another new park with a tot lot and picnic area. Did fair, 34 mixed copper and zinc pennies, five rosies, three quarters, a master lock key and our first Sacagawea dollar. Made the day even better!

On the way in the ranger said I could MD but was emphatic about NO HOLES! We explained how we recovered with no sign of digging. He checked up on us at first and decided we were OK. On the way out we showed him the junk we pulled out including the rusty fish hook we pulled from the childrens play area on the surface. He got happy and told us we were welcome back and then handed us a brochure showing all the other parks in the county and encouraged us to check them out as well.

Score one for the good guys!

Sounds like a good hunt. hope you can tackle all the parks in the county. Best of luck.:detecting:
