Again, the last 15 minutes of my 2.5 hour hunt proved to be the best. Up to then, I had recovered $.35.

18.1 grams of 10Kt....7.5 grams of pure Au!

Maybe a longshot - can't really tell from the pics. Is that a 2004 San Antonio Spurs NBA Championship Ring? If so, thought'll be worth a lot more than the gold content, and those would most likely be real diamonds.

Not even close. Also, Detroit won in 2004, San Antonio won in 2005.
