Another Indian and lower Recovery Delay

I hunted at lunch for 30 minutes. I returned to the very trashy old yard. As suggested here, I lowered the Recovery Delay on my V3i. I went from the default 80 to 65 in the C&J program. The Indian Head gave me a nice signal among trash with a consistent tone and a consistent VDI of 72 plus the frequencies all lined up nicely on the Spectragraph. The coin was only 3 inches deep so that helped :D

Unfortunately, I also verified that there is something wrong with my battery pack as I only got 30 minutes of hunt out of a full charge. At least I hope it is the battery pack and not the V3i! I will be switching to the blue pack with the AA batteries to make sure.

I really like those IH. In the trash don't be afraid to try going lower yet. As you go lower the tone will be shorter but could help in trash. RD 40-45 emulates DFX target processing and 35 - 40 emulates the MXT RD.

Nice one - wtg!! Agree with lowering RD even more...and swingin slow. Never had problems with my battery pack - good luck with it.
