Yesterday morning 2 more hours at the same beach (now very few targets left!). Yields 3 old silver rings, 1 junk ring and 1 plain 9ct. Bringing the totals to:

*2014*Rings PLATINUM=3 Palladium =1 GOLD =62 STG=44 Stainless = 4 Junk=35 Titanium = 2

OK......rub it in with a ;) Great total ring finds! I see most of those rings had been in the water for some time. Were they deep?

Actually one beach in particular has really helped me out lately - the sand, when in the water waist to neck deep had been mostly stripped away - leaving only a few inches over a clay base. So these rings are normally 1 foot deep - now only a few inches. Sitting ducks for the ATX and small coil. It may be many years until we see the beach like that again, truly a detectorist dream!

What a great year you are putting together! :clapping:You are right, every once in a while a guy gets into the right spot with the right gear, and then the sand comes back in for no telling how long...good job working it!

Great totals dmnz,:please: with your pace early on I thought you'd get 100 precious metal rings, now it looks like you may get 100 GOLD rings!! Outstanding!!!
