Howdy--
I've passed by a vacant lot at least 100 times over the last year or 2. It had most of the qualities that made it an attractive site to swing a coil on. It's in the oldest part of town and close to other productive sites. Unfortunately, it has always been overgrown. Because of the drought that we have had here in West Texas, about 20% of this lot is now bare dirt. I gave it a try with my V3i equipped with my White's 12" Coil and I'm glad that I did. Although I didn't dig any silver I did get a couple WW1 Great Seal Buttons, a Carlsbad Cavern medal from White's City New Mexico and a few other neat finds. I like this 12" coil more every time that I take it out. Best of luck and...
