Went out for a couple hours in a yard we had previously hit last year. I hit the back part of the yard this time around-lots of square nails and junk in this yard, BUT it had a lot of activity and I found 2 barber halves and a franklin last year. It took about 10 holes of trash, but i knew there was more to be found in this yard. Finally dug a 1918 d wheatie in the back corner. Next hit rang up a 75 and then 87, and then nothing-pretty iffy dig. However, knowing what i had found before i decided to dig. On top was a newer wheat 1950-put my pinpointer back in and theres more! Dig another 2-3 inches down and i see the reeded edge-NOTHING is cooler than seeing that sticking out! Its like being little on christmas morning all over again :wiggle: As you can see, its in pretty good condition while the others are pretty iffy. I just love owning peices of history and imagining who lost them and how/why? Saturday we hit up old indian territory where my buddy has found hundreds of points, a 1774 real, some v nickles, and numerious other artifacts layin on top of the ground-hopefully lud and I have good stuff to show for it! Thanks for lookin!
