Another great day with the CTX

I got permission from a landowner yesterday to hunt his home built around 1860. Im glad I went and I am going back tomorrow! Im still shocked that the large cent was only 2" deep! This is now my NEWEST oldest find! My silver count is up to 11 for 2013!

Some pointers on cleaning up the large cent without destroying it would be appreciated!

Nice finds! Not sure if its the best way but I soak my coppers in olive oil for at least 6 months and brush them lightly when I take them out,gl& hh
