Finally getting out with my CTX a little more and it's doing a great job. Went to an older homesite from the '30's a couple of days ago and while I still didn't get any silver, I did get a few keepers. I got 2 baby spoons, really dirty will have to use electrolysis to clean them up and see what they really look like. Also got some wheats, a1925,1937 and 1944 and the best of the day was a really green wheatie which I knew was pretty old, you guys know how you can just tell without even seeing the date. Got it home and cleaned it up a bit and it is a 1910S. S mint coins are a rarity in this area and I was glad to have it, checked my wheat album and saw that only 6 million of these were minted, most wheaties had over 100 million minted so 6 million is a low mintage. The "newest" red book in my collection is from 2008 and it the coin in the lowest grade was worth $15 at the time. Any way most importantly to me is it will fill a void in my wheat album and I am glad to add it to my collection. Thanks CTX. Oh and my hunting buddy MTWolf got the best finds of that hunt but I will let him post his own, congrats MTWolf!! Thanks for looking and HH!
