Looking through the detectors on Craigslist I found a MINT,MINT Garrett Grand Master Hunter CX 111 w/treasure talk.
Bought at a great low,low price!!! I got it home and started toying with it. It will air-test a quarter at 10" as I was impressed
with this but I know air-tests are only examples and not real in ground scenarios. The talking will drive you nuts if left on
full time. Anyone still using this Ol unit? Would love to hear some input on settings and depths achieved with this unit.
Seems heavy though and runs on 4 C cells. The thing I like about it is that it WORKS and the Price was right!
I also found my Mint Scorpion Gold Stinger on Craigslist for a Steal.Have 4 Garretts in the Arsenal now and 2 months ago
I never had a 1. Really liking the Garretts these days but I do have my go to machine which I am at one with...

I have the Master Hunter CX. The true all metal mode gets good depth. It doesn't have the "TREASURE TALK" though. But my GTI 2500 does. I didn't like using it either, but, it's an exclusive with Garrett. It's a real collectors item. Congrats on a fine machine.
