another G2 Depth question

I would like to hear in ground comparisons of signals with other detectors and if the G2 could hear them or not. Particularly in mild ground. I know I always compared signals when I was hunting with a friend and I'm sure you have too.

Thanks,
Rick, N. MI

Gold bug and Etrac,
1.2 gram nugget at 3 inches.
Gold bug hit like a blow horn.
Etrac could barely squeak out a intermittent response.
11 gram gold bracelet
Gold bug screamed like a banshee
Old whites eagle spectrum sounded like a iron trash signal very scratchy.
8 inch nickel
G2 hits it but very softly but has OK Id intermittent good Vdi
Gold bug version 2 software Kills it loud and clear but the 2.0 has no VCO in disc So it hits everything Hard if it hits it. All and all a deeper machine than the G2 but only in disc mode in all metal both are on par.
Etrac and 7 inch Merc.
I missed it with the gold bug any way any how not there but bad ground
Etrac nailed it hard.
The Gb G2 are awesome at what they are designed for.
1.7 gram 18k baby ring at 8 inches Gb wont hit it.
Minelab sd 2200v2 PI squeaks it out with a 6x9 joey coil and hits it hard with stock 11dd coil.
If your a old silver hunter look else where.
If you like the gold Go for one of these machines. If there is gold there in the place your hunting you will not miss it. (WITHIN REASON)
My GB paid for itself 3 times over in gold the first year not counting the $300 in clad and all the silver jewelry I found.

Nice comparisons. Only found 1 sm gold ring this year. Only got in the water a couple times. I like the comparisons though.

Thank you,
Rick, N. MI
