Is it OK to keep it turned on all the hunt or should i turn it off after every find? i know it will use more battery power by keeping it on.One more thing while i was out this morning hunting i turn it on and after i found my coin it kept making a kind of vibrate sound i held it my hand to see if i had some metal around it,nothing there. i turned it off and then back on and so far it has not made that sound again. Thanks
TJ

I can't keep mine turned on because that metal fastener in the holster sets it off. As much as I turn it off and on I too thought about just keeping it on to save that power button some wear and tear. I don't know about your second problem. It probably just needed to reset itself.

I find that the Pro-Pointer adds a lot to my hunts and I think it was a very well spent 120 bucks.

I keep mine turned off after I use it, of course, I only use it when I just can't find the target, if it is really small or it's getting late and have trouble seeing the target in the dirt, that light comes in very handy, haven't had any problem what so ever with mine, hope I just didn't jink myself...ha ha

I was also wondering about the on off button wearing out.

For quick work you can push and hold the button on without "clicking" it on

You can leave it on if you wish as long as you keep it away from any metal. It has quite a long battery life

I used my PP for the first time today, being a noob it sure helped and I won't leave home without it.

when I first started using mine, I thought that was how it worked until it finally dawned on me that it would stay on.....who says old dogs don't learn?
