Another First! Diamonds

Heh guys!

I will try to post pictures tomorrow. The wife and I went to a park about a half hour away today to hunt for a few hours.

I got a 12-14 consistent VDI reading on my M 6 at about 2 inches down. I was thinking "foil", or a partial pull tab and almost passed...but I remebered that the two gold rings I had found rang at about 12-22 --so what the heck, I'll dig it. Glad I did!

Up popped an 18 karat gold pendant/charm with 9 little diamonds in the center! I have never seen anything like it but it is definately very cool. I wonder what it is worth-it looks old.

I also found an 18k gold plated pendant-really wish that would have been solid gold too! Also to my surpise I found my oldest wheat to date-1912 at about 5 inches down in really hard ground, as well as a 1944 and 1958. Quite a day even if I only found about 7 or 8 other clad coins!

Way to go Tod,

I have yet to find 18k. And I have only found a few small diamonds,

except for one 1/5th ct diamond.

Take it to a good jeweler and get it appraised.

Probably worth some money.

Thanks for sharing,

Tabdog
