Went back on Thursday and hit the same park in a different area. Just scrubbed the grass slow and overlapping and came up with some nice finds! Enjoy!
First up was a surface find. Too bad it's just plated, but it has weight to it. I might wear it for luck, my Chinese Zodiac symbol is the Dragon.
Next up was a first for me. A lead bag seal, from Port of White Horse, Yukon Territory. I have no idea what the stuff on the other side means. Anyone?
Got a tiny flaky fluff fluff high tone on this one and *almost* walked away. Glad I didn't. 1917 George V silver dime. The backside is in perfect condition.
One foot away I got a screamer 12-36 signal. I thought I had a toonie, but no such luck...it was better! A 1915 LC
Circled around for a bit and got another warbly high tone. Both of these came out of the same hole on the same level.
Then 2 feet away I got another screaming 12-36, I dunno how these were missed, unless they were ignored by cherry pickers. Another 1915 LC!
Then I got a an old bronze key. And some kind of bronze oval thingie, I don't see any markings or designs though.
One the way back to the car I hit this at 6" deep. Dunno if it's a dogtag or something else.
Last but not least I got some modern coinage for the cash pot. Three loonies, three dimes, three nickels and two quarters. And a crapload of modern pennies(not pictured).
Heading back on Sunday morning! For a park that supposedly been hit hard, I'm turning up alot. Gotta be the karma from the ring return, I'm on a silver streak! GL & HH All!!
