As a kid, I was in love with Roy Rogers....saw all his movies...with Dale, Gabby , and Buttermilk....but
I think the members on this forum are all too young to remember this famous cowboy with his singing group "The Riders of the Purple Sage"

How is that for trivia ?

BTW, did you know that Pat Brady, Roy's sidekick, was the 2nd Bass player for the group and that Ken Curtis ("Festus Hagen" from the Gunsmoke series) was a singer in the group, after some of the originals left.
