My buddy and I met at MacDonalds for breaky and then headed back to the old pic-nic site that I hunted yesterday. It was even colder today......brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

One of my better finds was this old milk glass jars, probably for PONDS cream, as validated with the stamp on the bottom of the jar.

Got to brush your teeth, right? Well, a nice vintage tube of "COLGATE TOOTHPASTE" was down a couple of inches. Because it contained the ingredient "GARDOL".....it was easy to ID. Below is an old magazine ad for this brand.

More toothpaste! Crest also got into the toothpaste wars! This small vintage tube also dates back into the 60's.

Here are a couple of old one minute TV commercials promoting these two toothpaste brands! Enjoy!

I did dig a few coins too.

Well......after about 3 hours hunting, we headed to a famous Chinese restaurant for some noodle soup with onion cakes. Just another great adventure metal detecting! :)

Great for the mind as well.
I do remember the Crest and Colgate ads...BUT
Must try an onion cake, I have never seen or heard of one in my 69 years.
I guess Chinese in on the menu for dinner tonight. Thanks

Hey John I was given you name to find out information on how cold weather effects the AT Pro performance. I just bought mine and want to go out and try it out but don't want to damage it because I can't find any information about the units operating temp. range. I live in Pennsylvania and it will be below freezing for the next couple of months.
