Well I haven't been out for a while , but I snuck out during the packers game last night... I did a yard I have been wanting to do , and someone either beat me to it , or these people did not lose coins ..So I went back to my old standby field..Detected with iron mask on , auto 24..This is a noisy way to detect this field , and I have done this same spot twenty five times myself...Yet my first pass yielded the worn barber ...down about eight inches..then two passes later , I get yet another barber..I have read Bryces posts about the sef , and the pro coil..Now paying attention to the smartscreens is making more sense , I have dug a LOT of DEEP little aluminum caps , that sound good with the pro coil , but just don't bounce up to the upper right...I got a square nail last night well over a foot deep..I always wonder if the sef would be worth it to me ..I seem to have to pro coil figured out , maybe I'll get an sef next year.... I started running the pro coil at twenty four instead of twenty six , Seems to not false quite as much in this area., yet still hit an Indian at ten to twelve inches..If ya ever dug an Indian that deep , You wouldn't believe it..till you do..I have found two of them in this field approaching the foot mark ..deepest Indians I have ever found.... I'll have to reread Bryces sef field test again.. Hmmm ..Christmas is coming...
