Another dive with the 6" coil...

Another successful dive with the CTX 3030 cherry picked 2 platinum Rings with one of them at .8 grams (smallest platinum I've ever found) and two 14k Rings one of them being .4 grams (smallest gold ring I've ever found) and two 18k rings...

Great finds! I haven't used my 6" coil in the surf yet, just the 11". I bet the 6" would really cut time in finding and digging your target, but I thought it might a lot more effort to cover the same area you can with the 11". But after spending sometimes 20 minutes or more on one target, maybe I should use the 6". Do you have any comments along these lines? Mike

The 6" coil is so much easier to swing under water so I can sweep a little faster so I can cover the same amount of ground as the 11" (in the water) and I have less shoulder fatigue so I can hunt longer plus pinpointing is so easy...

Thanks! I didn't consider speed and ease of sweeping the 6" (in water). Can't wait to give it a try!
Mike
