Wemt back again to this lake hoping to find a civil war gun of some sort. Not yet but one never knows. I did find a silver ring a 1927 merc, and a 1903 Canadian large cent. Also got a huge silver and black ring. I am thinking stainless as nothing is on the inside. Two more Daredevils Detroit USA. A long 3/8" drive half inch Craftsman socket, a very old innertube inflator cover, and a brass thing with steel inside. Haven't quite figgured it out yet. Also has strange markings on the outside of it.

I can't believe how many bottles are in this lake. I could fill up my innertube ever time I go out with bottles from the 30's - 60's. I bring up a few but they are overwhelming. I need my boat out there and i could still fill it up and it holds 13 adults!! (that might be a small exageration but it doesn't seem like it. Anyway, will post pictures later. I seem to be having a problem with my photo hosting site.

Will be going back to this lake but to where I found the civil war bayonet tomorrow with a friend. Hopefully more good finds will find their way under my coil.

Sounds like a interesting place to hunt SD ,congrats on your finds!

I have no idea what the brass thing is, but it's pretty cool looking.

Nice finds there Scuba! I was thinking about giving it a try today, but the wind was pretty brutal this afternoon.

That brass piece looks really familiar, but I can't quite place it. Maybe a handle for the transom clamp on an old outboard?

Going out today and am excited. The place we are going to is where I found the civil war bayonet. I am hoping for something bigger!! A cannon? LOL I can dream! I could bring it home on top of my Explorer. I wonder if I would get pulled over?

Another lake here John Dillinger lived on. LOL I want to find a Thompson submachine gun in that lake!!

Thanks for the replies,

Maybe a punch??

daredevils.......you got pike in that lake?
