Spent a couple of hours testing the Sovereign GT with different settings today at the beach. No gold again but managed a couple of ratty silver rings.

Great video as well as test. Lots of finds also. Did'nt seem to be bothered with other hunters. Don't show to many landmarks or you will be covered up. Thanks again. HH:minelab:

Nice video! That brought back some memories :detecting: Use to swing a Sovereign XS-2a Pro and now use the explorer 2 for the beach. Had forgotten the sounds

Great Video. ..................More! More! More!.........thanks for sharing.............joe

Joe, your the one that has inspired me to start videoing some beach hunts. I've watched your videos over and over. I just need to get a good camera setup so I don't need three hands. The little Flip camera just doesn't cut it. Thanks!

Yeah, we have some nasty black beaches. It takes about 3 days to get the smell off my hands. I'll say one thing the Sovereigns have always handled the mineralization and hot rocks like a champ.

Good Job, I really like the vid's...along with Max's; Surfdiggers....thanks again..............joe

Thanks for the video! Is the GT very similar to the Excalibur in design and tones? In one of your posts you mentioned the Pacific NW, I live in Birch Bay WA are you any where near by?

Gerry

It's a private beach. There are a couple of other guys that hunt it sometimes but they don't have Minelabs so they keep the surface junk cleaned out for me.

Don't wanna get hanged, is this one that's owned to the high water mark, low water or meandering water mark.

Exelent vidio I like it when i can hear the sounds , and getting that kind of strong signal at 10" is great the SOV is a great detector
