Another day at the Delaware Canal

It was a scorcher today so I cut my hunt short (only about 2 hours). I went to an area south of Yardley, PA this morning and found the digging really difficult. This section of the canal was created using lots of stone because it lacked a natural embankment. I managed to find another wheatie that was in bad shape but I was able to get a date off of it (1929). Frankly the thing I found that was more fun was an old Daredevil spinner. I'm not sure of the age but it's been there a while based on the corrosion and it's weight. Lots more area to cover since the entire park system is about 50 miles long but just not take any more of the heat today.
