Sounds like it was partially collapsed but has been there for eight years... Swimming holes = old jewelry, coins, etc.....

Why can't this ever happen around me....
 
you and me both. After performing a map overlay of the area, I identified some prime hunting areas along the river....
 
whoops I should have said a hundred seventy years it has been there.
 
I knew it was a typo but what can you do. I think we only have 30 minutes to correct the typo. I know I have done my share of typos. - Jim
