Hey everyone,
Looks as if everybody is doing well, by the pics I'm seeing. Its real nice to see all the Civil War relics coming out of the ground....keep'em coming. The camp I'm digging is getting kind of quiet until some more dozer work, so I'm concentrating on Hut and trash pit locations...they've done me well of late. The pic is what I dug out of a Hut on Sunday, with the exception of a ink well balled-up in a rag in the truck toolbox. Union Staff Officers button, Eagle button, Large Cent, flowered necklace charm and some bullets.

I have been looking hard at trying to get into a hut. I got a new probe last week but the huts in the area where I hunt are all very shallow. With a good detector you can reach the floor of the hut from the surface. Good work on your finds, post a pic of the ink well if you get a chance.
