I was eager to try out the new 5.75" DD I just got from richard at backwoods detectors, let me tell you was this baby quite and smooth, i was only out 20 minutes and covered 6 pcs of 1/2 of the gravel road and found another copper nugget still in a stone boy did it bark at it . nice and clear also found an agate as well.

Neat finds Gunnar! Maybe you are standing on top of a copper mine :)

What can you do with them copper nuggets. Are they worth money? I have never found one in Indiana... KEN,,, IND.

Ken i don't think they are worth to much , maybe a few bucks but its just cool to find them , if the right glacial advance never made it to indiana you will not find them the nuggets come from the great lakes volcanoes and got swept down by the Wisconsin glaciers and are in the till so in this respect I am lucky just hoping for a Gold nugget by chance.
