Another Battery Question

I use a T2. I was wondering, as the battery charge indicator starts to drop, does the effectiveness of the machine also drop? I.E. If I loose a bar on the battery indicator does that mean I am getting a little less depth and sensitivity or is it OK to let them get down to 50%.

Thank you for your time and info--BAC

No...the circuit was designed to take you down to about nothing on the battery with no ill effects...you can effectively hunt until they pretty much crap right out...which is a looong time!

I have what might be considered the brother of your machine, an F70...I run the batteries right down to dead...you can extend your battery life by using headphones, and I never use the PP button either, just got quick enough to not need it, so I think that may prolong batt life a little more...good question though, dont worry about it and hunt away.!.

Detectors use voltage regulators, so they will work just fine up until the battery gets pretty well drained.
