I had one day off during the last 13 days, so I thought I would de-stress by making some coinrings. All are silver, except the US quarters. Now.....to market to market to market

I didn't know you could use clad coins for the double sided coin rings. That'll open up a whole new world of possibilities!
Have you ever made a ring with a coin that was not round? I have some foreign coins that are scalloped along the edge, also some which are octagonal. Just curious.

Philip, the US clad quarters are made with a pure copper core, and an outer layer of a 75 percent copper, 25 percent nickel alloy. Therefore, you can easily make a coinring out of one. I have made 5 US quarter (clad) coinrings with no problem at all. Ahout those coins that aren't round? I haven't made one yet but I might.

How do you get the writing on the outside without distortion? I have never seen this before.

Check Out Eastern and Western Treasures, May edition for instructions that I sent them. Hope this helps!
