Another Barber Quarter!

Took a trip to Fall River to hook up with my regular hunting partner and we hit a park that we've hunted many times before. Things started slowly with just a couple of wheats, then I got a very weird hit, which turned out to be a 1916 wheat, stuck to a 1946 Nickel in the same hole with a 1945-P War Nickel. Not too long after that as I made my way around the park, I got that sweet Minelab sound. About 6 inches down, 1892-O Barber quarter. Checked it out in the book- Type 2 Reverse, grades Good or slightly better. Second Barber quarter in a week!

Up a hill and into an area I've done at least 10 times previously- found an 1892 Indian penny and a 1942 Merc. Funny thing- BOTH had a rusty nail in the hole with the coin. The wheats were 1916 (2), 1917 & 1919. This was the first time I've been back to that park with the SE Pro and Ultimate coil- I'll be going back for sure.

Enjoy the pics and HH all!
