That is just crazy. I've done a few really good yards in the past, but nothing like the one you just did, unreal.

That yard is a find of a life time

I bet if you go back at a later time, you will find more coins.
I know I would go back and hunt that yard some more.
Looks like to me that kids may having been playing in the yard around the era of wheat pennies for you to find so many.
I have found some of my best coins after others have pretty much given up on the site and moved on.
You just need to slow down even more and really listen to those signals.
Maybe even try from a different angle or grid... I know I would be back at that site as soon as I could get there to try some more.
Anyhow, that is a nice bunch of coins you found at that "dream" site.
That should close the gap of wheaties/ silver coin ratio.
Thanks for showing your finds,
Felix

That was a Killer yard. Wow, That is the kind of stuff that would encourage others to take up the hobby.
I will be trying out the new technique mon or tues.
Blessed for sure.

I would hate for a newbie to get a yard like this, they would think all yards were this good and wold get discouraged very quickly! Many yards do not even produce one single old coin.

Just awesome!! Congrats on all the old coins in that yard! Man I would be very happy with half of that. Very nice hunting to say the least, Beale.
