I entered my 'Clancy's Song' in the Song of the Year songwriting contest(www.SONGOFTHEYEAR.COM) quite a while ago. Judged by the likes of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and other celebrities. I just got an E mail from them today, naming my 'Clancy's Song' as winner of the 'honorable mention' songwriting award. The award says the Song Of The Year receives entries from all over the world, and only the top songwriters receive a Honorable Mention placement in the songwriting competition. Went on to say that my song 'Clancy' received VERY high marks, and was considered a very well written song........I will post a picture of my award soon........
